Foundations - Speed, Turns, Multi-Threat - Beyond Concealed Carry: CCW Level 2 Course A

Sunday, January 18th

Burro Canyon Shooting Park: 22100 E. Fork Rd, Azuza CA 91702

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Ready to move beyond static shooting and into real-world defensive performance?

This course is built for those who understand a hard truth: violence is fast, chaotic, and unforgiving. Standing still and “dumping rounds” doesn’t win fights — movement, decision-making, and control under stress do.

Static shooting doesn’t prepare you for real violence.
Real encounters are fast, chaotic, and unforgiving — and this course is built for that reality.

You’ll train dynamic movement under pressure: moving fast without losing accuracy, cutting angles, maintaining balance through tight turns, and managing multiple threats while your heart rate is elevated. Every drill is designed to build speed with control and decisions without hesitation.

Train smarter. Move faster.
Because survivability isn’t luck — it’s preparation.

What will you Learn:

Move & Shoot Under Pressure
Engage while moving forward, laterally, and off-line — maintain balance, control recoil, and stay accurate while in motion.

Speed Without Sloppiness
Push your pace without outrunning your sights — fast draws, clean hits, and total accountability for every round fired.

Angles, Turns & Non-Linear Movement
Fight through pivots, hard turns, and changing angles without getting tangled in your feet or losing your sight picture.

Multiple Threat Management
Learn how to prioritize, transition, and stay ahead of evolving threats — not just shoot faster, but think faster.

Decision-Making at Elevated Heart Rate
Train your mind to work when your body is stressed — compressed time, limited options, real consequences.

Real-World CCW Scenarios
No static lanes. No square-range habits. Scenario-driven reps that reflect how concealed-carry encounters actually unfold.

Efficient Body Mechanics
Use footwork, posture, and movement to control recoil, stay stable, and remain lethal without burning energy.

Combat-Ready Mindset
Build confidence through competence — controlled aggression, situational awareness, and disciplined restraint.

Hands-On Coaching & Corrections
Immediate feedback that fixes problems on the spot — no bad reps, no wasted rounds.

Meet your Concealed Carry CCW Cadre

At Public Safety Institute, training isn’t theoretical — it’s earned.

Our cadre is composed of active instructors with backgrounds spanning law enforcement, military service, and competitive shooting. With 50+ years of combined experience, we bring the discipline of duty service, the precision of competition, and the realism of street-level defensive encounters into every course we run.

This isn’t one-dimensional training.
It’s the fusion of three proven disciplines:

  • Military: movement, structure, accountability under stress
  • Law Enforcement: decision-making, use-of-force judgment, real-world legality
  • Competitive Shooting: efficiency, speed, accuracy, and measurable performance

Our instructors don’t just teach — they train. They are on the range regularly, refining skills, pressure-testing techniques, and staying current so that what you learn is relevant, effective, and defensible.

Collectively, the PSI cadre has trained thousands of firearms enthusiasts, pistol instructor candidates, and concealed carry (CCW) permit holders, building shooters who move with purpose, shoot with discipline, and think under pressure.

When you train with PSI, you’re not getting range entertainment —
you’re training under professionals who understand what works, what fails, and why.

Experience. Discipline. Performance.
That’s the PSI standard.
